Australia Post Express Post - Shipping Information

  • All orders are fulfilled and dispatched within 1 to 3 business days of order placement.
  • Once dispatched, delivery takes at least 1 business day.
  • All general orders are dispatched via¬†Australia Post Express Post Shipping, at a¬†flat rate of $15.¬†For bulky orders, shipping rate is calculated at checkout.
  • Express Post¬†does not mean your order is fulfilled faster for dispatch.
  • Express Post is the fastest shipping option via post, but it is not same day or next-day delivery. Specific date delivery is not possible with Express Post.
  • No dispatches or deliveries will take place on public holidays.
  • Australia Post has authority to leave (ATL) parcels in a safe spot at the provided shipping address, if the recipient is unable to receive the parcel in person at the time of delivery. If they have assessed that there is no safe spot, the parcel will be brought to the local post office to await collection by the recipient. It is the responsibility of the recipient to collect the parcel as soon as possible to keep the contents in good condition. Please remember to check the tracking information of your parcel.
  • Please check your shipping address is correct, as once your order has been shipped out, the address cannot be changed. If Australia Post is unable to deliver due to incorrect addresses, the standard process for them is to return to sender and the parcel cannot be re-routed to another address. We cannot reimburse for losses due to incorrect shipping address provided by customers.

Can I track where my parcel is?

  • Yes, every parcel will have a tracking number as part of Australia Post Express Post shipping.
  • When you place an order, please ensure you have provided the correct full address and contact details (email address and mobile phone number).¬†Make sure to include the unit/apartment number (if applicable) as this is a leading cause of non-deliveries. It's good to double-check!
  • Tracking notifications are enabled for your email and mobile number, so once we dispatch your order, you should shortly receive details from Australia Post via email or SMS for tracking your parcel. Any subsequent updates will also be sent through these contact details.
  • If you do not receive tracking information within 1-2 days of the order being fulfilled, please contact us as soon as possible for assistance.
  • It is the responsibility of customers to track the whereabouts of their parcel and to collect from their local post office in a timely manner.
  • As stated above, please use¬†the tracking number and updates from Australia Post to check on the delivery status. In the event that it has been sent to your local post office, please be a responsible plant parent and pick it up!

Same/Next Day Delivery - Courier Service Information

This is only available for deliveries to addresses in Greater Sydney postcodes. Same/Next Day Delivery is via courier service and on Mondays to Fridays only. The shipping cost is calculated at checkout, based on the delivery postcode. A valid physical street address must be provided, and we cannot deliver to hospitals or Australia Post-owned properties (including Parcel Collect, Parcel Lockers, PO Boxes or post offices).

Please note: No deliveries will take place on Public Holidays.

What's the cut-off for delivery on the same day?

Orders must be placed before 10am for same day delivery on Monday-Friday.
Orders placed after 10am will be delivered the next business day.

Can I pick a specific date for delivery?

Yes! Please leave a message in the order notes, or contact us directly via email.

We handle most of Greater Sydney. Please check your postcode is eligible by clicking here.

What time will delivery occur on the day?

Delivery will occur any time between 7AM to 7PM. There are no set delivery time slots; please do not request for a specific delivery time as this cannot be done.

What happens if I miss the delivery?

If the recipient is not there to receive the delivery and cannot be contacted by phone, the courier has Authority to Leave (ATL) the items in a safe spot with Proof of Delivery.

In the event that the courier is unable to leave the order in a safe place, or is specifically instructed by the recipient that they cannot do so, or if the recipient declines the delivery, we do not offer refunds or compensation for this. We do not offer re-delivery for the order.

What happens if I want to change the delivery address?

Please check the delivery address before placing your order as this cannot be changed once the order is booked in without incurring a courier re-delivery fee. Under special circumstances, we can try to arrange a change of delivery address, on the condition that this re-delivery/change of address fee is paid by the customer.

Delivery Agreement

All local delivery orders (same day delivery and next day delivery) will be dispatched with 'Authority to Leave' the items at the premises if unattended. Our nominated courier will refer to the contact number and delivery instructions you've provided to complete the delivery.

If the recipient is unable to be contacted, the courier will leave the items in a safe spot (following the delivery instructions if provided). If based on the courier's assessment, there is no safe place, it is not our responsibility and we do not offer refunds or re-delivery for the order.

Please note that Giftable Australia will not be held liable for any loss, due to theft or negligence as you have agreed on ATL and the courier has proof of delivery. If the recipient declines the delivery on the day, we also do not offer compensation or re-delivery for this.
